ASO is thrilled to welcome the Gray Sargent Trio at its newest venue, “Club 231!” Orchestra trustee, Nina Wellford, is opening her home for this special event.
The musicians will play 2 sets for only 50 people in an intimate living room setting.
Guitarist Gray Sargent and bassist Marshall Wood are fresh off playing in Radio City Music Hall in the final two concerts of Tony Bennett’s career, as two long-time members of Bennett’s quartet. They are joined by drummer Gary Johnson, son of jazz legend Dick Johnson. All three have played and recorded with a host of jazz greats over the last 40 years. They are masters of jazz as well as standards in the Great American Songbook.
Your ticket comes with a glass of bubbly – additional drinks and opportunities to support the ASO will be readily available. Don’t miss this unique chance to hear great jazz live, up close and personal!
Out of respect for the musicians and fellow guests, vaccinations are required.
