What is better than great music outdoors in a beautiful setting? Bring a picnic, your chair or blanket, a friend or a few, and enjoy ASO’s eclectic “music fusion” concert at Glastonbury Abbey. Featuring a mix of classical, jazz, and “Greatest Hits” favorites from Gershwin to Clapton!
With Border Road band. Special guest vocalist: Lisa Jason.

What a great excuse to stop in to Tosca! Come for some delicious passed and set hors d’oeuvres from Tosca’s kitchen and a taste of the music to come! Reconnect and mingle with friends. Say hello to Music Director Jin Kim and meet one of our musicians, who will be there to play for us. It’s a great opportunity to introduce new friends** to the symphony — who will be invited to take advantage of special two-for-one Opening Night tickets as a thank you for coming. Everyone is invited and new season brochures will be available. Let’s fill the room!

Berlioz: Symphony Fantastique

An epic virtuosic symphonic event! Featuring Berlioz’s monumental symphony that decisively opened the door to the romantic period, and Mozart’s famous “Little G” symphony heard in the opening sequence of “Amadeus.” Many solo moments and a great opening program!

Classical Uncorked

The season’s first Up Close In Concert event at an exciting new venue for ASO, in the heart of Quincy’s downtown renaissance! Spend an intimate evening over dinner with one of our gifted musicians, and learn more about the artist and the instrument. Offering a specially prepared à la carte menu, excellent service, and extensive “South Shore’s Largest and Best Priced” wine list. In the beautiful old-world Madison’s Room. Weather permitting, Alba’s roof-top lounge will be available for early arrivers. Limited seating. Free parking. $3 valet parking is available.

Take a Bow! Gala

It’s the 2nd Annual Take a Bow Gala! An important fundraiser for the ASO and a lot of fun! We had a great time last year. Hatherly Country Club helps throw a terrific party.

Join us for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, excellent seated dinner, some great entertainment, and auction & raffle items that will make supporting Atlantic Symphony extra satisfying. It’s a social occasion to “touch the work” that you support and spend an evening with other ASO supporters. Or use this opportunity to become one!

Featuring ASO principal timpanist Timur Rubinshteyn. (Do you know about Timur? Be ready to laugh!) And after-dinner music and dancing with Billy & The Goats. (We asked them back for more! Be ready for a good time!)

And did we say auctions and raffles? Just in time for the holidays!

Beauty and Grandeur! Symphonies by Borodin and Beethoven will sweep you away. Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto is the first of the Romantic period…beautiful. Featuring exciting guest artist Angelo Xiang Yu, violin – First Prize winner of 2010 Yehudi Menuhin Violin Competition – as our headline soloist.
