This concert takes place at Quincy’s historic (and beautiful) “Church of the Presidents” on an important Abigail Adams anniversary!

FREE FOR ALL  — This Special Event is generously supported by a grant from The Boston Foundation “Free For All Fund.” Part of the mission of this fund is to open access to high quality classical performances for all the residents of Greater Boston. You can help make this event a success! Please plan to come and spread the word — especially to friends and acquaintances who are “new to classical” or who don’t often attend live performance but would enjoy it. We’d love to fill the house and help more people get to know ASO!

We return to the wonderful Alba Restaurant for our sole Up Close In Concert dinner event this season. Spend an intimate evening over dinner with a gifted musician, and learn more about the artist and the instrument. Offering a specially prepared à la carte menu, excellent service, and extensive “South Shore’s Largest and Best Priced” wine list. In the beautiful old-world Madison’s Room. Weather permitting, Alba’s roof-top lounge will be available for early arrivers. Limited seating. Free parking. $3 valet parking is available.

Special Command Performance

Due to overwhelming response to his appearance with us last season, we are very excited to present world-renowned violinist Xiang Angelo Yu, winner of the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition, for a special command performance at Hingham’s historic Old Ship Church this spring.

His musical mastery, the tone of his 1729 Stradivarius, the warm acoustics of the meeting house…if you were with us for Masterworks Classical last season, you know why this is an event not to miss! This is your opportunity to experience Xiang Yu in solo concert, in a very special venue.
