2021-22 Covid Guidelines

Please review the following guidelines. As guidelines change, we will update this page to reflect them.

DO I NEED TO BE FULLY VACCINATED? 

For all ASO live performances through April 30, 2022, attending guests, staff, and performers must show proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19, a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event, or a negative Covid-19 antigen test taken on the day of the event. Please make sure any test results clearly show the date of the test.

Guests can display their vaccination cards or test results on a smartphone or present a physical copy, along with their ticket.

We will also accept a note of clearance from your healthcare provider with a positive covid test result within the last 90 days, that serves as CDC-compliant documentation of recovery.

Anyone exhibiting flu/cold symptoms will not be admitted without a temperature check and proof of a negative Covid-19 antigen (rapid) test result, taken on the day of the event. Please make sure your test result clearly shows the date of the test, such as a timestamped photo.

Thank you in advance for your understanding that we will not admit guests without proof of vaccination, clearance, or a recent negative test. We recommend keeping a picture of your vaccination card or test result on a smartphone you regularly carry, if possible, to avoid the disappointment of not having your card with you at concert time.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

. Doors open one hour before concert time, for concerts at Thayer’s Center for the Arts.
. Doors open 30 minutes before concert time at other venues.
Please do not come before doors open but do plan to arrive with ample time for this season’s entry process. (We recommend no later than 20 minutes before concert time, for concerts at Thayer.)

WHAT IS YOUR MASK POLICY?

Currently, masks are required to be worn by all guests at all times, while indoors. We ask for your help in honoring our venue hosts’ policies.

IS YOUR THEATER SEATING SOCIALLY DISTANT?

While not “tight” at Thayer’s Center for the Arts, seating is not socially distant. We may limit seating at our church venues in order to allow for distancing between groups.

WILL YOUR HOSPITALITY BAR BE AVAILABLE?

Our hospitality bar is temporarily closed due to masking requirements. If the requirements change, we look forward to reopening the bar. Meanwhile, if the weather allows this spring, we hope to locate our hospitality outside for Pops!

WHAT ABOUT INTERMISSIONS?

Symphonic concerts at Thayer’s Center for the Arts will include a brief “stretch break” rather than our standard intermission, this season. Our solo and chamber concerts may follow suit, or be planned without intermissions, depending on the musical program.

WHAT ABOUT CANCELLATIONS, CREDITS AND REFUNDS?

We don’t anticipate canceling performances this season but if it becomes necessary, 2021/22 ticket holders will have the option of a refund or credit towards a future performance. Ticket holders with credit from the “covid canceled” 2020 performances may apply it towards individual concert tickets or subscriptions.
