JIN KIM

Jin Kim is serving his 26th season as Music Director and Conductor of Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. Under Kim’s leadership, ASO has become a professional orchestra of note; a premier regional orchestra recognized for artistic excellence. Audiences give Kim high marks and routinely name him as a personal favorite who brings warmth and welcome to every concert, without apology for the “high art” of ASO performances. The Masterworks After Hours Education Concert!

BEETHOVEN Symphony No. 1

Enjoy an evening of masterworks, led by Beethoven’s most “Mozartian” composition, at this annual educational concert featuring musicians from local high schools. ASO will showcase local high school students of exceptional talent, playing with orchestra members on select pieces.

It’s a celebratory spotlight on the next generation of orchestral musicians. Come to enjoy ASO, and see the future, then stay to mingle with the musicians at the complimentary after party!

Sylvia Berry

ASO Principal Harpsichord

Sylvia Berry is one of North America’s leading exponents of historical keyboard instruments. Ms. Berry has spent nearly twenty years playing countless types of fortepianos, harpsichords, and organs, including some noteworthy antiques. She is known for her exciting performances and engaging commentary and is also a published scholar and lecturer.
