MEET OUR
MUSIC DIRECTOR / CONDUCTOR
JIN KIM
Jin Kim is serving his 26th season as Music Director and Conductor of Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. Under Kim’s leadership, ASO has become a professional orchestra of note; a premier regional orchestra recognized for artistic excellence. Audiences give Kim high marks and routinely name him as a personal favorite who brings warmth and welcome to every concert, without apology for the “high art” of ASO performances. Atlantic Symphony presents a fun, uplifting DOUBLE FLUTE concert
Sunday, April 6 at 4 pm in the Meeting House
$40 (general) and $35 (seniors)
Our special DOUBLE FLUTE CONCERT features ASO’s extraordinary Principal Flutist Tim Macri. He’s joined by Elzbieta Brandys-O’Neill. We are lucky to have Elzbieta back (briefly!) with ASO by popular demand, after an absence of several years while she performed in venues like Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
The program (90 minutes, including intermission) includes pieces by
Bach, Hoffmeister, Mozart, Billings,
It will be intimate, fun (perhaps some doodle dandy piccolo?) and inspiring, with the opportunity to meet both our artists and our host, Maestro Jin Kim. Many thanks to this concert’s sponsors: Old Ship members Eileen McIntyre and Roy Harris!
