JIN KIM

Jin Kim is serving his 26th season as Music Director and Conductor of Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. Under Kim’s leadership, ASO has become a professional orchestra of note; a premier regional orchestra recognized for artistic excellence. Audiences give Kim high marks and routinely name him as a personal favorite who brings warmth and welcome to every concert, without apology for the “high art” of ASO performances. We’re thrilled to welcome Gray Sargent and his trio back to the South Shore on May 10 & 11 for two evenings benefiting the ASO’s expanding music education programs.

The Gray Sargent Trio, Tony Bennett’s former band, produces transcendent traditional jazz that is joyful, soulful, and technically unmatched.

Prior to the performance, please join us for wine, including a special cocktail honoring Tony Bennett, plus desserts from several local bakeries and a silent art auction featuring local artists.

Sylvia Berry

ASO Principal Harpsichord

Sylvia Berry is one of North America’s leading exponents of historical keyboard instruments. Ms. Berry has spent nearly twenty years playing countless types of fortepianos, harpsichords, and organs, including some noteworthy antiques. She is known for her exciting performances and engaging commentary and is also a published scholar and lecturer.
