Sunset at the Abbey
Our Sunset at the Abbey concert is held in late August or early September, on the lawn at Glastonbury Abbey, 16 Hull Street (Route 228), Hingham 02043.
This event is usually a “mixed” afternoon of music; a fusion of classical, jazz, and/or rock. Each year’s program is different.
Sunset at the Abbey is a celebration of summer, as well as music. Dress comfortably for the outdoors and bring a picnic and chair or blanket. Plan to arrive early to find a good spot on the lawn.
The abbey is located near the intersection of Routes 228 & 3A.
Tickets are discounted for students; free for children under 14. Parking is free.

The church sits up a short access road, sufficiently far from the bustle of Main Street traffic, with ample parking. The main interior is light and modern, and is an “acoustically live” space — perfect for intimate concerts.

Command Performance
Atlantic Symphony holds our Command Performance events at Hingham’s First Parish Unitarian Universalist’s “Old Ship Church.”
Located at 102 Main Street, Hingham 02043, The Old Ship Church is a Puritan church built in 1681 in Hingham, Massachusetts. It is the only surviving 17th-century Puritan meetinghouse in America.
It’s a boon for music lovers. The all-wood interior adds warmth, resonance, and a richness you won’t find anywhere else.
This venue is easily accessible for all our guests. There is a circle drive up to the church for dropping off guests and an ADA compliant bathroom. There is a step-up to enter the main door and a wheelchair ramp to enter the side door.
Parking is free. The venue has a few parking spaces onsite and plenty on the street or at the town lot across the street, behind the shops.
