Turner is a retired physician and former Regional Director of HMO Blue (Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA). He is also one of ASO’s founding members, a former orchestra player (oboe), past board president and past treasurer. His return to the board for “another round” provides fellow members with useful insights and understanding of ASO history. He is also a practiced and thoughtful analyzer of data. In addition to his passion for the orchestra, Turner is a climate change activist and very interested in what drives people to support nonprofits and other organizations in their communities.
