Originally from Armenia, violinist Arpine Azatyan is a laureate of several national and international competitions and festivals, winning her first national competition at the age of 14.

Ms. Azatyan holds a Bachelor’s Degree with honors from Yerevan State Conservatory (Armenia), Master’s Degree from the Music Academy of Basel (Switzerland), and Graduate Performance Diploma from the Longy School of Music, Cambridge, MA.

During her years of study in Yerevan, Ms. Azatyan played several solo recitals and chamber concerts, and appeared as a soloist with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra. In Switzerland, she performed as a chamber musician with “Chamber Academy Basel”, “Klassikkupel” festival, and “I Tempi” ensemble, among others.

Since moving to the U.S. in 2013, Ms. Azatyan has participated in Garth Newel Chamber Music Festival, won the third prize in BCO Young Artists competition, and appeared in concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Sanders Theater, and Jordan Hall, among others. She has performed with Atlantic Symphony Orchestra since 2015.

Ms. Azatyan performs and teaches in Boston, MA.
